It requires people to buy insurance due to the act of living. Insurance for auto liability is if you choose to drive on roads built by the government. This is a great leap that basically means they can force us to do anything, whereas at least with cars I can choose to drive something that’s safe on sidewalks, ride a bike or take a bus. You’ve accepted the Statist argument that states can do whatever they want to their citizens based on the 10th amendment, but this also is a lie.

As for the latter quote, if you are required to buy insurance, it stands to reason that insurance companies must provide it regardless of previous health conditions.
