His statement and your quote about 14 to 44 sexually active are completely different. Think about it. His statement is a broad brush. It covers all Catholic women.
- 1). 14 to 100plus - why would a Catholic women over 50 need birth control?
- Some women are trying to get pregnant so they are not using BC
- Some are lesbians and don't need BC
- Some are just not out getting it on (i.e. old maids or just don't like sex) so don't need BC
- Some are steril
- Some are married and don't get it on... ask my wife (just kidding... maybe)
- many are just stupid and don't use BC The bottom line is that the way Moore phrased the statement it is brazingly false. We really need to work on educating people on the ability to spot false arguments.
