Please pray for the people in Wisconsin

It has been posted on Freerepublic about how neighbor no longer talks to neighbor because of the political atmosphere in Wisconsin.

Please pray that people will forgive one another and work together.

There is a story [today] that the Democratic candidate in the Governor's recall election was slapped by a supporter. That is how poisonous an atmosphere it seems to be.

It is a condition that is not good for Republican or Democrat, nor is it good for Conservative or Liberal.

trying to work with hard core libs is IMPOSSIBLE.

They are not rational or logical..

I have distanced myself from them and that includes my own family.

The justification for govm't is to protect rights, not to violate them. That's the nature of "this poisonous atmosphere". God said folks should shake the dust off their feet and walk. Do you want him to change His mind? If He doesn't change His mind, all that;s left is for Him to violate someone's free will.

I’d save the praying for those who have been threatened with bodily harm as the result of how they voted. I’d save the praying for those who serve in the military to maintain our cherished rights, especially the one that was exercised yesterday. I’d save the praying for the leaders who do need to work for what’s best for the state and their families.

As for those who scream, protest, curse, threaten, defile, occupy, bang on drums, ignore rules, flaunt public decency, use children as pawns and a host of other insidious things, I would only pray that they open their eyes and change their ways. It idiots continue to cling to idiot beliefs and that divides families and creates hardships, it is by their own choice.

A couple of years ago I had the misfortune of going back to Wisconsin for a family reunion. I had left home a 22 yo and only returned a couple of times in 40 years that past. There were 80-90 persons at the reunion and I met 60 that were the reasons I had left in the first place. Socialism was not for me. One good thought though was that 99% were Packers Fans!

I would pray for frontal lobotomies for all liberals, but that would be redundant.

All I can say is intransigence is a virtue in the face of the forced transition from brutish socialism toward evil communism.

I understand and applaud your spirit. However, Demwits and union big wigs started this recall fight. When you kick a sleeping Doberman and he rips you a new one, you lose all right to complain.

Dems and their mutton heads in the media started a vicious rumor about Walker having an illegitimate "love child." Utter horse hockey.

We still have and as yet, unresolved election, Wanggaard vs. Lehman. There look to be some improprieties there, according to many.

So we owe these people absolutely nothing...

What this country needs is someone who can unite all of us again, in a healthy way.

I remember the Reagan era. Before him, we were so divided.But after a few years of Reagan, we seemed to be one country again. They even coined the term “Reagan democrats,” to describe the liberals he eventually won over.

That’s what we need again. May the Lord raise up another righteous uniter.
