I think this will boomerang on the mullahs and inside Iran make them seem even weaker and more desperate.
People who have already decided that Iz Lame is nothing but a totalitarian doctrine, many of whom are already turning to Christianity, aren't going to believe anything the thugs in power say. In fact, anything the leadership says is likely to lead people to believe the exact opposite is true.
They've tried being subtle, putting carrots on sticks, brutality, and random violence, but they're still losing ground and seeing control of the country slip through their fingers. All they've managed to accomplish is to turn the majority of Iranians against Iz Lame and Arabs.
I think this will boomerang on the mullahs and inside Iran make them seem even weaker and more desperate.
Especially so, if the people can get exposed to the real thing for comparison purposes.
I recall listening to the conversion testimony of a Turk who became a Christian in the late '80s. He told about how very difficult it was for him, then, to get hold of Christian scriptures when he was seeking and asking questions.
