The Vatican reportedly placed an official request to examine the scripture ... Odds are good they will call in the Maronites to examine the text, along with others whose liturgies are celebrated in Syriac/Aramaic.

I wonder if is really a bible or a copy of the Diatesseron which was very common in thie region and was written in Syriac by Tatian I believe.

I bet it's a fake. The Turks have had it for TWELVE years, at least. They ALREADY know it's a fake and that's why they are "releasing" it to the world.
If it WERE real, we would not know about it and it would be on the black market or somewhere OTHER than the public domain.
