A precious member of our family is in need of your prayers. Richard, aka Little Man, is 2 and a half yrs. old. After receiving what his parents were told were "every test known to man" during Christmas, and being sent home with a tube for feeding (he had been admitted after weeks of diarrhea which caused dehydration) began vomiting a week ago. His Mom insisted upon re-admittance to the hospital which they did. The doctor ordered a catscan and ultrasound (why that wasn't done before is beyond us, but we put that away for another day). The test found a tennis ball size tumor, and immediately proceeded to go after a biopsy. Once in, seeing the tumor was attached to no vital organ, the removed it right away.
Yesterday, we heard the news that the biopsy came back and is malignant. We do not know at this time what type of cells or any other information. Our entire extensive family is praying, and we would ALL appreciate the prayers of FReepers, we believe the more prayers, the better! Thank you all!!
Prayers on way now!
His being so little, it was located near the kidney, and the spine. That is a sizable tumor for a little guy. A few lymph nodes were removed even though they were fine, and the nerves it was touching, but the surgeon said all else looked good. Mom is a nurse, (my mother) and she went up yesterday and shook them them up a bit to get the biopsy results back, it had been a week!
May God bless him, and may he be healed of this malignant growth.
St Therese of Lisieux, please add your prayers for this little guy.
Oh Maria, thank you so much for that!
I prayed that God would comfort you and your son as his will is done.
Thank you, and thank you all, you don’t know how much this means to us!! God Bless you all.

You might want to suggest Caring Bridge to the family, Gidget.
It’s a great way to stay in touch with concerned family and friends and give and receive updates.
Also, “guests” can post encouraging messages.
You got it.
Prayers for Little Man, Richard, his family and medical team.
When appropriate, if his doctors don’t recommend it, you might suggest that his parents bring him to a top teaching university hospital. They are usually way ahead of local/regional hospitals in research, equipment, etc., even if the physical plant(s) may not be attractive. After testing is completed, his local doctors should be making that recommendation.
We will pray in a special way today Gidget,God bless,Fatima
I have placed him in Mothers Immaculate Heart for safekeeping and know angels will surround him. God bless.
Exodus 15:26 ~ For I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Most Merciful Father, we thank you for the Promise of Your Word. May we soon learn that all is well with this precious child, to the Glory of the Great Physician. By the Power of the Holy Spirit, encourage and sustain Little Man's family as they await a complete return to robust health.
May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen ...
