What's even worse than the phony balony book of Mormon is the book of Abraham that Joseph Smith suppposedly "translated." It was actually an Egyptian book of the dead.

I guess you don't play to Hie to Kolob, as in the LDS hymn, "If You Could Hie to Kolob (here, Mitt Romney style)". The Book of Abraham is the only place where Kolob, the planet where the gods live (or star near which the planet is), is mentioned.

Curiously, Joseph Smith, Jr. never said the Book of Abraham was scripture. That was somebody's idea in 1880, when it was canonized.

Don't get me started. The Book of Abraham has been thoroughly debunked by every source in the world - including LDS historians - except rabid apologists who are triple-jointed and intellectually dishonest to suggest it's anything other than a crass attempt to interpret hieroglyphics by somebody who had no idea what he was doing.

It’s not only the Book of the Dead, Smith claimed one of the ‘gods’ (Min) from the text was God. For those unfamiliar with Egyptian pantheon, Min is the Egyptian god with the erection.

Rather fitting considering LDS theology...
