I dont know about the identity of the rod coming from the Stem of Jesse but certainly I believe that Joseph Smith was a witness of Jesus Christ.We know you beleive that JS saw Jesus (because he said he did). I'm not asking that.
Interesting. Why don't you know about the root of Jesse being JS? It seems clear that it's taught in your religion. It's certainly on one of PD's links.
If I do the legwork and find it, will you be accept it as truth?

OK, that was easy. You're right PD, it's all right there at our fingertips.
Quite obviously the root of Jesse is a man, a descendant of Jesse and Joseph (as the Lord explains), who seems to have a great mission to perform in connection with gathering the remnant of Israel, as explained in Isaiah 11:1116 . [Most likely] the rod of verse 1 and the root of Jesse of verse 10 refer to the same man, Joseph Smith"
