well let's see my wife spent 23 years in the catholic church, then she had and encounter with Christ, was born-again and left the catholic church, never looking back

my mother-in-law spend 45 years in the catholic church, then she had an encounter with Christ, was born-again and left the catholic church, never looking back

i know catholics exalt the pope, exalt mary, and the saints. i know they count little beads on a string and claim the elements of communion literally turn into the body & blood of Christ. i know their churches are filled with relics (idols of worship. if that's not enough, their stance on celibacy of priests and added books of the Bible are all contrary to Scritpture, not to mention infant baptism. that alone is enough for me to reject their teachings and there are much deepers issues in addition to these regarding salvation.

Well then it seems to me that neither your wife nor your MIL knew what the Church teaches. They gave up the Truth for a lie.

Well then it seems to me that neither your wife nor your MIL knew what the Church teaches. They gave up the fullness of Truth for a lie.
