You are forgetting the rest of the verse and taking that one verse out of context. The Pope does not exalt himself nor does he flaunt any superiority, Instead he is a servant, just as Christ was and is. Read onL

Jesus is speaking to his disciples here:

⁶ As for you, do not be called 'Rabbi.' You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers.

Call no one on earth your father; you have but one Father in heaven.

Do not be called 'Master'; you have but one master, the Messiah.

The greatest among you must be your servant.

Btw, in Poland we don't call priests Father, we call them "ksiądz" which is quite different from father which is "tatuś" or "ojciec" -- Ksiądz translates as priest.

Just because the English speaking world uses one term, you think it means everything??? Hilarious!
