I’m with you. I don’t know who the Catholic-bashers on FR are, but they sure do show up en masse when there’s a thread/story abut the Pope.

I say, go Pope! He was wonderful. I support him fully. and I’m a Methodist.

Yeah, it’s a mystery to me especially when, if they bothered to explore it, they would find that they have much more in common with their Catholic brothers and sisters than they would have ever expected.

Well, the bashers are basically hyper-Calvinists who also post such rot as The Arminian/Wesleyan Doctrine of Infant Damnation

They pretty much hate everyone and show no Christian compassion or love. Of course, the fact that their groups are only at max 27,000 and dropping (the OPC), doesn't deter them one bit as they believe they are an elite elect upper-caste.

The Pope is fighting to re-Christianize Europe and whether that means people become religious, traditional Lutherans or Methodists or Evangelicals or Catholic or Orthodox, that’s secondary, the main thing is for us to reclaim our Christian faith and heritage.
