No further sin is committed at the moment of death. At that time there is a judgement (particular). The person’s soul (and body) may be sent to three places.

1. Without any sin on their soul — directly to heaven
2. For most people — to Purgatory so that their souls can be purified before entering heaven
3. And for some people — striahgt to hell because they have denied the precepts of God and the Church

I’m sorry you think you can go through life all by yourself without prayers and support from others. We are all weak in our own way — prideful in others.....and we all need prayers.
