MetMom Serious Prayer Need--EATING threatened [Update @560]

Metmom has had allergies and food allergies her entire life. In the last few years they have gotten steadily and progressively worse. Foods have been dropping out of her diet until she reached the point she is at now and can only eat rice, chicken, lamb, and venison. Anything else causes her to react rather destructively, debilitatingly.

The problem is that the repeated continual exposure to the few remaining foods, could lead to a sensitivity to those as well, which has just happened to two foods she had been safely eating since October.

There are options for nutrition should she start to react to all foods, but they are used only in the most dire situations. She's concerned about reaching that point--and frankly has been feeling more than a little discouraged by all such.

She has undergone extensive medical testing which has all been inconclusive. Almost everything comes back normal or negative, and the few things that she does test positive for aren’t what causes her the most problems.

She is attempting to get into a regional medical center for more specialized medical evaluation to see if they can determine the cause and possible treatment, if any exists.

She has been prayed for and anointed numerous times over the years, however, she would appreciated continued prayer for complete healing.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND HER PLIGHT with as much empathy as you can. She's been through a 1,001 suggestions and tried a LOT of different things. She's been through the Henry Wright seminar and prayers extensively. I don't think she is quite up to handling any more suggestions currently. Those who've been through such can understand such a feeling. She just greatly would appreciate your understanding and PARTICULARLY YOUR CARING PRAYERS.

This summary is per my understanding and might be stated somewhat differently were she writing it herself. I believe she'd affirm the truth of what I've said but these are essentially my words.

We take the sword of The Spirit and cut her off from any and all ancestral junk passed down through the generations spiritually, physically, any way whatsoever.

Knowledge is power. Having a diagnosis is the first step. I had to look up mastocytosis, even though I clicked on that link. I’m a little baffled about all the allergies to food. So, does that mean you have issues with the stomach too? (since it said in rare cases it affects the stomach lining and the intestines)?

There’s a local lab seeing what they can do to get the test approved. Apparently, just because I live in NY, means that I can’t have the test done, even out of state.

I won’t know until Monday or Tuesday after the lady chases down the state and Monday is Columbus Day, so it’s closed.

Please pray that God would move in the levels of NYS bureaucracy to change this.

So glad you at least have a probable diagnosis. Nothing worse than just not knowing what’s wrong.

It sets you up so doctors take your problems a little more seriously, and there is always a chance a good treatment protocol will come along.

No kidding. Like when you go to the ER and they ask you if you've ever been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.

Talk about urge to kill......
