A bishop of the Episcopal Church has announced that he is aware of at least nine allegations of sexual abuse against one of his predecessors.
On July 11, Bishop Sean Rowe of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania announced that the late Bishop Donald Davis sexually abused four girls of around the age of 10. Rowe also asked other victims to come forward and subsequently said that he is aware of at least five others who have alleged abuse.
Davis, who died in 2007 at the age of 78, was appointed bishop in 1973 and retired in 1991. In 1977, he became the first Episcopal Church bishop to ordain a woman priest.
Davis was married for 55 years and had three sons and a daughter.
Hold on to your PC hats folks but the Islamic faith has more than one up on the Christians with respect to this type of criminal behavior.
I just finished reading this URL entitled PIMP YOUR MOSQUE:

Truth is better than an Oliver Stone Movie!
Since we are precluded from using the “If he were allowed to marry” excuse what about “Legalize plural marriage?”
Episcopal, not Catholic. That’s why it isn’t already all over the news, 24/7.
There's little red meat here for the bloodthirsty.
Most of the “Informed citizens” use marriage as a remedy to cure the pedophilia problem completely ignoring the gay issue . I wonder why?
But it is over the news...though you can be sure not to the degree the Catholic issue is. Hey when you claim popularity among the masses it comes with the price of notoriety. Which is why their noses are to be cleaner than all the rest...but as we do know sexual crimes are not a matter of church affiliation...rather the condition of mens hearts and minds....and as much if hidden or exposed for what it is.
Hey where are the anti-catholic crowd?
This might be a good argument for the return to active ministry of heterosexual married priests - to reduce the influence of the gay clergy and to blow the whistle on some of their activities.
But I think the primary reason to argue for the return of the married priest must be ministry to the people.
Quiet in here, isn't it?
The silence is "deafening", as they say.
