Yes, that's why JEsus will denounce whatever traditions you make up in your man-made group you've formed.
hence Jesus Christ looks after HIS Church, the One Holy Apostolic Catholic Church as He has looked after it, with the grace of the Holy Spirit for 2000 years seeing off all heresies, trials, etc.
