No question this flotilla has some illicit cargo. Anything found will no dboubt be reported as lies and evidence planted by the Israelis.

Despite your reputation for obtuseness, I will tell you why.
If the IDF were all knowing and all seeing, they could just stop the ships with deadly armaments. Since they are humans like I am and I suppose you might be, they must take precautions to prevent another barrage of attacks from Gaza which gives Israels enemies another deadly front.
These precautions include directing ships to a port under Israels control for inspection. These ship Captains refused the order to port. Israel rightly had no other option but to inspect at sea.
