“Sleep” and “die” are the same....no one is in heaven yet, contrary to popular belief. When people die they are ‘asleep in the grave’ until the 2nd coming of Christ.
NO when the flesh dies it returns to dust from which it came to be, but the soul/spirit returns to the Maker that sent it.... Alll who pass through this flesh age have returned to the Maker. The Adam was not alive-living until the breath of life which means soul was breathed into his nostrils.
