It is indeed the "fruits of Vatican II"........both the figurative ones, and the literal ones - the nancy boys in backwards collars - who are to blame for this.
It is primarily because of the bad example of the nancy boys in the parishes, chanceries, and seminaries, that good, solid vocations of pious young (straight!!!) men are both passively and actively discouraged. This is no mere "phenomona" or accident. It was connivance - and there are enough critical studies and books out there by scholars to prove this out.
What normal, mentally/emotionally healthy, pious young man wants to enter a profession run by nancy boys (overwhelmingly), where the the words and actions of these men run counter to the express purpose for which the organization (the Church) was founded?
