Besides, Jericho and other Canaanite cities described in the Bible didn't exist when the Israelites were supposed to be conquering them. Finkelstein says the Bible isn't just fantasy, though.
Oh yes they did. He's wrong on his facts. Dr. Bryant Wood came to our school and showed how the original excavator, Garstang, was right in his dating and Kenyon was wrong. He bases this upon pottery fragments found at the site that date to the time when the Israelites were supposed to be there. Kenyon's study was flawed.
