McClintock also opposes abortion and would refuse to fund Medi-Cal abortions for poor women. But we havent seen Code Pink or NOW dogging McClintock with protests at every event. Umm... perhaps they didn't see him as electable and concentrated their efforts on Arnold, instead? Isn't this the kind of miscalculation the GOP should be exploiting?
To: Coop
"So is this where we should all start calling Arnold 'traitor' and 'backstabber?'"Trojan Horse Kennedy-esque Democrat" will suffice.

Do you deny there are such things as 'right wing crazies'? How about 'left wing crazies'? Or how about left or right 'fringe crazies'? Just depends upon how you look at it... there are fringes on both sides that don't come close to representing their party in general, imo. Okie, please explain the right wing craziness of wanting to end racial profiling and supporting prop 54?
Oh, but only the crazies would disagree with Arnold?

Not sure what you're referring to. How does a Hotmail account constitute a third-party account?

This was a poll in real-life. Ummm, is Arnold dropping out? No he's not, so it's a fantasy poll.

I'm as pro life as the next person (well, almost) but this recall is not a referendum on abortion. The issue is throwing Davis out. I agree.
Yes on recall. That is most important.
I will vote McCLintock or if he drops out Van Vo or Ned Roscoe.
Important thing is to Recall Davis.
Electing Schwarzenegger would be the desired fall back for the progressive elites of the Dem party, hence Bustamante's lack of support.
So, Schwarzenegger winning greatly mitigates the Damage to the Dems done by reaclling Davis. But I still see that as key.

LINE ITEM VETO That is not the cure all you think it is. State Constitutional mandates and federal funding requirements would take the pen out of his hand in most cases.

Point taken. I just sense there's a lesson here about principles and "expediency"...

"If Schwarznegger, McClintock, & Bustamante all dropped out, would Huffington win?"Are you assuming Gary Coleman has dropped out?

Fortunately, nearly the entire California GOP leadership supports Arnold. As do the progessive Santa Monica/Santa Barbara DNC elite.

I see you remembered how to cut and paste. The meds are working.
To: F16Fighter
Maybe Mary Carey would have a couple of assets in such a race.

Somehow, though, unless all conservatives bend over and take it from the RINOs, you folks won't be happy. That's a rather subjective way of looking at the reality that Tom, the spoiler, should drop out.
As for "you folks"...
Include many prominent conservative Republicans in that group, the list is too long to post and growing.

Let's not forget Katie Couric, Art Torres, Barbara Boxer, Democrat Indian tribes, etc. who support McClintock.

It helps to prove that Arnold is the spoiler keeping the conservative out of the Governor's office.Arnold is to the California RINOs what Weaselly Clark is to the Clintons.
