My biggest regret is sending the letter on Shorenstein Center stationeryWhat garbage!
His biggest regret should be his unmitigated stupidity.

Franken, who has a new book out next month titled "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right," has long been a critic of Ashcroft and has frequently railed against other conservative politicians and newsmakers As a proud member of the "Right", my delicate sensibilities are deeply offended by the slanderous, pathetic little fraud.
Where is the courthouse of jurisdiction where we, as aggrieved conservatives would be able to file our civil suits?
In fact, perhaps there could even be a civil rights class action suit. (What's good for the goose...)

notice he isn't apologizing for his deception of his actions, just for the use of the academic stationary. I'll bet ten to one, Shorenstein made him do it.

From this article...."Franken's prank...."
If a conservative author pulled this on a Democrat office holder it would be a "scandal" and a "crime".
Because it was the loathsome commie Frankenstein, it's only a "prank".

Who gives a rats arse about "Al Franken"?
The dip hasn't had an original thought since realizing his need to do #2 as a toddler. His crap is all about ripping off others' ideas and holding those things up to derision.
Franken's not a has-been. He's a never-was.
To: Republican Red
Somebody like Drudge could get the story out but I think he hates Fox News more than Arnold these days.
My apologoes to Drudge. He is linking to this story on his website.
To: grayout
The apology is as insincere as the letters themselves. That's my take on it as well. Al Jerken Franken needs to be placed in a Juvenile Detention Center.

On the other hand, think about being a partner to "Rageaholic Squirrel" aka Al FrankenFranken probably goes for little boys.

I will bet that Ashcroft's response- although not used- is something for the ages.Unless I misread the article, Ashcroft did NOT respond.

Thought that you would be interested.
We'll have to consider whether FReeping him in Northern Virginia on Oct 8 will simply increase his book sales.
I don't want to be like Fox. They have legit trademark issues with Franken, but unfortunately the unintended consequence of their suit is to help Franken sell books.
