THIS KIND OF PETTY NONSENSE GOES ON ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. WHILE MANY FOCUS ON CONCENTRATIONS OF POWER AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL, MANY ARE MISSING THE EXPLOSIVE GROWTH OF SOCIALIST AND BUREAUCRATIC TYRANNIES (AND TAX BURDENS) AT THE LOCAL LEVEL.

Be proud to have you in VA.... You can carry concealed here...grin. You shouldn't have a problem getting a job. Lots of school systems needing net support folks right now. I teach Oracle/SQL and Java, plus Cisco networking.

Most are in the County of Roanoke which includes Roanoke City and Salem City. Lots of industry based jobs in the area, plus in the Blacksburg (Virginia Tech) area.

Here is a photo, I took today, of the trailer that the Contra Costa county is going to demolish. The demolition is scheduled for today. This area is in the flood plane with cows on the right and goats in the background on the left. Maybe the cows and goats should be killed too save them from drowning because they might be flooded. Well, Free Republic can't help.
The farmer is at his gate with it locked. The police are there and now the county is going to have to get a court order to cut his lock. It is only a matter of hours before they tear down his house! Aren't we proud of our BIG GOVERNMENT saving us from ourselves!
His house might flood. So the government will destroy it so it can't flood!
Sad day on Bethel Island, CA in Contra Costa County.
Here is the police car, the police filling out some kind of papers. You can just see the farmer. He has only one eye and has a patch over his right eye.

Montana does, basically because we don't let the govt interfere in our private lives. The last time they tried it in the Flathead Valley (where I live), there was damn near a rebellion with a few county commissioners hanging in the trees.
