I just sent this thread to my friend who is an investigator with Dept. of Family and Children in Michigan. He is with Boaters Against Drunk Driving and has a lot of contacts everywhere. (http://www.BADD.org) He is really good at what he does and I hope he can help here.

to all of you wonderful Freepers (too many to list!) It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that I share the latest news regarding my uncle. We found out this evening that his body was discovered about 1/2 mile from his car. My aunt said that it appears he had a heart attack. I also heard from my sister that there was an email on his computer regarding meeting someone, but they don't know anything else about the person. He must have decided to take off and meet his friend. How he got stuck off of a gravel country road in a field of wheat, I don't know.

Please continue to remember in your prayers my mother and cousin who are having the hardest time with this right now. May God have mercy on his soul and grant him eternal rest!
