MIND READER
Unimpressed by the speedy liberation of Iraq, Edward Norton is jumping on Hollywood's President Bush bashing bandwagon.
As an actor I know in my mind watching him, what a low quality mind he has, Norton, whose chronic hamming helped ruin the film 'Red Dragon' with Anthony Hopkins tells the London Telegraph.
'Because I have been doing this since I was 5 years old, I know when a person is saying words that aren't their own-and it is apparent as it could possibly be to me that he is a mouthpiece, and not even a good mouthpiece.
'President Ronald Reagan was a B-Movie Actor, but at least he had the ability to touch certain emotional notes. Bush is just utterly incapable of it.'

Useful idiot number ... gosh, I've lost track. This guy doesn't seem very useful.
Well, give him some credit anyway. At least he's doing the idiot part of it quite well.

I liked 'Rounders'. norton played the part of a weasel perfectly. he also did fairly well as a guy acting like a retarded person in 'The Score'. he is reprising his low-life type cast in an upcoming movie 'The Italian Job'.

He was fantastic in "Fight Club" (the most underrated movie of the last decade.) He was also pretty good in that movie with DeNiro where he played a jewel thief who pretended to be retarded.
He's a real good actor. But he's so friggin' stupid, he thinks we should vote based on his ability to emote. That's like a plumber voting for the guy who can unstop a toilet quickest.

I thought his performance was way overrated in 'The Score' with Pacino and Brando.. he did the same tricks better in Primal Fear.
The guy is just not leading man material, his last bomb with Spike Lee is proof of that.

Eddie Norton is talking to the London Telegraph. Another nincompoop out of the country badmouthing his own country. What's with these duds? Clintoon sure led the way to badmouthing the hands that feed a person. What's Norton's intellectual claim to fame? He says he know "when a person is saying words that aren't their own". Duh! What does a presidential speechwriter get big bucks for? And does little Eddie Norton never read from a script that someone else wrote? My God in heaven, where does Hollyweirdo come up with this intellectually-deficit and uneducated people. No doubt from the gutters.

May it's not so bad that Dubya has a second-rate mind.
Clinton had a first-rate mind, Rhodes scholar, Oxford, and all. You want your kid to grow up to be like him?

Norton (the son of a leftwing lawyer) is a snotty loon, like so many of his fellow leftists. But we should not be too dismissive of his point here. Bush's vulnerability as a communicator provides his opponents with a powerful weapon. The most important leader in the world should not be stumbling over words every time he opens his mouth. It exasperates me, and I support him 100%. I imagine it's even more exasperating for those with a lukewarm committment to Bush's agenda, and they could very well decide the election in '04.

"On September 29, l995 President Clinton presented Mr. Rouse with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor to recognize his humanitarian service."
Buying urban real estate and building strip malls gets you a Medal from BJ Clinton. Nice.
How much money went to the DNC from this guy?
