[history]
April 5, 2003 -- WASHINGTON - Saddam Hussein - or a lookalike - happily bounced a baby and basked in the adoration of a small crowd as he strolled down Baghdad streets in a bizarre Iraqi TV video yesterday, looking like a movie star in a sea of fans rather than a desperate dictator.

They had Arnaud de Borchgrave on Fox News last nite. He has interviewed Saddam in the past and he doesnt believe its Saddam
"Saddam would never hold a baby" as de Borchgrave said....Saddam is too cold a person
Also....I couldnt help but notice that one person in the crowd had a hooded sweat-jacket on. Something I wouldnt wear on a 100 degree day

I saw this on TV tonight, and all I can say is it was the FAKEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN. Saddam Hussein may be alive and well and in the best shape of his life, but that guy IS NOT HIM. And if every single person in that "crowd of supporters" isn't getting scale, I hope SAG lodges a complaint.
I mean, come on, really. Iraq is under serious military assault. Hundreds, if not thousands, of Iraqis are laying dead in the sands of the desert. And the 'president' is out on a stroll for a photo-op? I don't think so.

It seems incredulous that Saddam would go out in public. There are spies and special ops crawling all over that city who would shadow Saddam in and out of whatever rathole he calls home.
There are numbers of anti-Saddam Shias and Kurds who would consider it a privilege to put a bullet or a knife into him at close range.
Not Saddam.

A better question is: Does it matter?
Turn the box on it's side and look at it again.
If you kill one "Saddamn" you have killed them all. The burden of proof would rest on the survivors.

Iraqi Math Problems
1. Saddam's twin brother is twice as old as he is. 10 years from now, he will be 13 years older. How old is Saddam?
2. In Baghdad during an air raid, how much will it cost to operate twelve 75-watt lamps with the wires exposed to shock and torture Kurds for 10 hours if electricity costs 9 cents per kilowatt-hour before the power in the city is blown to smithereens?
3. Saddam's double sells a mixture consisting of 1/3 acid bath and 2/3 mustard gas. Acid costs 3 times as much as mustard gas. If a pound of the mixture costs him 40 Iraqi Dinar, how much did he pay for a quart of acid ? ... for a pound of mustard gas ?
4. Uday is 39 years old. Qusay is twice as old as Ali was when Uday was as old as Ali is. How old are the liquefied remains of Qusay's murder victim in the freezer?
BONUS
5. Two of Saddam's thugs can torture a innocent civilian in 30 minutes. If the first thug can torture the civilian by himself in 45 minutes, how long would it take the second thug to torture the civilian by himself ?
