Chirac's Brit deaths snub FRENCH President Jacques Chirac delivered a nasty snub to Prime Minister Tony Blair at this morning's EU summit in Brussels.
While other European leaders expressed personal condolences to the PM over the deaths of eight Britons in last night's helicopter crash in Kuwait - Chirac was conspicuous by his absence.
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Irish premier Bertie Ahern and Spain's Jose Marie Aznar went over to Mr Blair at the start of the second day of the summit.
Italy's Silvio Berlusconi, Dutch leader Jan-Peter Balkenende, and Denmark's Anders Fogh Rassmussen did the same.
"They all offered their personal condolences before the meeting happened," a Government spokesman said.
Asked if Chirac had done the same, the spokesman replied: "The French President was late for the start of the meeting."

That will enrage Brits back home even more. The hell with the weaselly Frogs!

Chirac was busy selling ricin and nukes around the world.

I'm so angry, I really should not say what I am thinking right now. It involves grievous bodily harm to Chirac for this insult.
Even Schroeder had more class.

Chiraq is rapidly becoming an international pariah. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

Hardly.
More like "the dawning of reality" that Tony and the Brits chose to be on the right side of history... and moment by moment, as the "material breeches" (scud missiles) fly overhead only to be smitten by patriot missiles.... it is becoming rather clear... even to the mentally obtuse.
Chiraq is a whore. He sold his nation out for 30 dollars a barrel...
Tony, on the other hand, has a conscience... a clear moral center. Who is going to lead the new and improved Europe... the guy with a vision and conscience, on the right side of history... or the tired old whore with VD and a political form of alzheimers (forgetfulness of allies and friends)?
The rest of Europe is making the switch. Chiraq is on his last trick... and will eventually be unable to even "give it away for free." Pathetic excuse for a leader really. Europe I think has taken the measure of him... and has decided no more chiraq for now... at least, I am hopeful.
God Bless Tony, I am sure he really FEELS betrayed. No worries however... he has just found out who his REAL friends are... Nothing more pathetic than a man who trusts in false friends... and Tony will NEVER trust Chiraq again. THAT is a good thing for Tony, the UK and Europe.
By the way... WE are sorry for the loss of your brave marines. I am sure there will be more sacrifices made in the coming days... lets just pray its all on the Iraqis side of this conflict and not OURS....

LORD GOD,
PLEASE, BY YOUR ALMIGHTY POWER AND SPIRIT,
If possible, change Chirac wholesale into an honest, humble, repentant, monastic Christian overnight a la Paul on the Damascus road.
If that's not possible,
Please move him out of power, out of France, off the public stage as soon as possible--IF your wisdom decides moving him out of this life is the best way--so be it.
Let it be obvious that his removal is by Your Hand, Oh, Lord.
Let it be clear you are a defender of those on the side of righteousness, sanity and care of humanity--and against the duplicitous traitors and bedfellows of hideous torturors.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I feel certain that God will catch up with Chirac. He always does in the end.
Thank you for your condolences regarding our troops, please accept mine for your loss. I wanted our brave men to cross the border to find a sea of white flags - that may just be beginning - but let's hope the rest of the way is merely a long walk to freedom for Iraq.

The French simply have no concept of two of mankinds best traits: Courage and class.

Hi Ivan:
Chirac is an evil man. I was watching Fox News this morning and they were showing the British soldiers and they are the most well-prepared group of guys. If I were the enemy I wouldn't want to run up against them. God bless them and my prayers go out to the families of the British and American soldiers who died in the tragic accident. They died serving their countries and are in heaven now looking down on the brothers in action! God Bless the British and American Soldiers!

Ah, but they do. The problem is, those who have those traits are in the Foreign Legion!
Be Seeing You,
Chris
