It is a start. I'm equally, or even more concerned about the tens of thousands from other muslim countries.

Student visas, overstayed tourist visas, illegal entrants, etc. And legal resident aliens, and even citizens.

Should terror attempts be made at this time, it is evidence of the worldwide muslim terror threat--not to be taken lightly.

Good thing. Keep it focused on militant Islamics, not just Iraqis.

This is good because Newsmax has a warning from the Iranian Ayatollah that I don't care much for.

Oh my, I hadn't seen that. Notice the article doesn't mention just how many of the Iraqi nationals and possible terrorists have been picked up. This may be a good time to start publishing pictures and stage a nationwide 'be on the lookout for' so we all can assist in the effort.

Well, I guess it won't be long before the sreeching starts, comparing this to the treatment of the Japanese in WW2.

The detainees could come from more than 30 countries besides Iraq. They'll be held until their asylum applications are approved - which can take months.

I think we're finally getting serious.

I just wonder if any of the Iraqis that are targeted for roundup were welcomed to our country after the last Gulf War.

There are a few socialist/liberal dims I would not mind seeing detained for encouraging terrorist activities.

These people siding with Saddam, cause me as much concern as those who carry out the evil deeds, some of them are elected officials.
