Conservative activist and rock star Ted Nugent saluted "the attitude, the spirit and gargantuan kahunas for inviting Uncle Ted to share in this educational jihad campfire" with about 600 Northwestern students at Ryan Family Auditorium Friday night.

"Unlike Jerry Garcia," said Nugent amidst cheers from the mostly male audience, "I'm here tonight because drugs, tobacco, alcohol and way too much fast food is for ...

GREAT POST to start my day with before 18 holes (not the kind Ted was referring to.)

What a great guy. I'll present my son with a music collection for starters soon. I'll be making a run to pick up some of Mr. Nugents and Mr. Daniels to top it off.

Ted Nugent might have a slightly rougher rhetorical style than I like, but I have to love the man. When Zoroaster commanded men to "speak truth and shoot the arrow straight," Nugent was definitely listening.

If you haven't read his book God, Guns, and Rock And Roll, you might be pleasantly surprised at the Motor City Madman's literary gifts. In particular, his stories about hunting are beautiful and evocative.

Brute honesty is the anti-dote to the evil of P.C.

It is courageous, it is heroic, and it is long-past due for someone like Ted to take back America.

Tell everyone you know about this remarkable man!

I suppose they think conservatives don't know any bad words. I learned them very early in life.

He used to have his own radio show. He was a DJ for a rock station in Detroit. One of the Lansing stations would have him on occasionally.

Uncle Tedly von Nugentburger is great, even if he is profane at times...

Great post!
If my stupid mouse would carry copied things from one site to another, I'd post the whole thing and *** the naughty words. Just to preserve the whole thing on an FR thread. I don't know why my mouse doesn't work right anymore....
