Elizabeth Smart Reuninted with Her Mother**picture***

Police found Elizabeth Smart alive and in the company of a transient panhandler Wednesday, some nine months after she disappeared from her Salt Lake City home. Sandy police located Elizabeth in the suburb with Brian David Mitchell, who had worked odd jobs for the Smarts for five hours in November 2001 and was wanted for questioning. Salt Lake City Police Chief Rick Dinse said investigators are convinced Elizabeth was kidnapped, and released the name of Wanda Eileen Barzee as a second suspect in the crime.

She looks great. Seattle Times is reporting today that this creep held her in some kind of polygamous arrangement. I hope that's not true. If true, her life will never be the same and I wish the man could hang for it. Is that still available in UT...or firing squad?

She looks happy to be back--that's a good sign (considering what she may or may not have been through at the hands of this wacko, sexual abuse or cult-style brainwashing are both possible wounds which could have been inflicted on her). Hopefully she will recover as quickly as possible!

Prayers of thanksgiving going up to God, first of all; secondly, prayers for healing, as undoubtedly, there are many scars on her and her family......she looks good; the media yesterday were reporting the police to have said she is "healthy and very strong." Thanks be to God for that, too.

I know that the handyman (Richard Ricci) had a record but I felt he had nothing to do with this "bizarre" kidnapping either.....I feel for his widow..........I'm glad Elizabeth is OK also but lets move on.....I don't want to see this for weeks and weeks on the news.....we're at war.....

Her strength got her through this ordeal and her strength will help her heal. I hope the media backs off quickly so that this family can have the privacy to restore them to a normal life once again.
