NPR- 6 German Trucks equipped with Chemical sniffing capabilities now roaming in Kuwait - Why?
The Germans brought six state-of-the-art Fox reconnaissance vehicles to this multinational team. The Germans are experts at detecting and identifying all known chemical or biological agents. The Fox vehicles are pressurized against a chem-bio attack, so soldiers can quickly take samples through special protective hatches.

You think they know something we don't?

They have had those vechiles around for months. It's actually part of the German cooperation with the US in defending Kuwait. This is actually nothing new.

According to an article posted here a day or two ago, the trucks are in Kuwait but Schroeder has refused a coalition request for them to go forward into Iraq when the war officially starts.

They ought to be experts at detecting and identifying these cmeical and bio agents. After all they are the ones who sold the means to create these weapons to the Iraqis in the first place.
A perfect business scenario. Sell the problem and the solution.
