Congresswoman Likens bin Laden to America's Founding Fathers

Sen. Patty "Osama Mama" Murray isn't the only Democrat on Capitol Hill who has kind words for mass-murdering terrorist Osama bin Laden: Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, likens him to our Founding Fathers.

"If you think back to our founding as a country, we are a country of revolution," Kaptur told the Toledo Blade.

Many religious people who had fled repression in other countries helped America "cast off monarchical Britain" in 1776, she said, such as the patriot militia Green Mountain Boys.

"One could say that Osama bin Laden and these non-nation-state fighters with religious purpose are very similar to those kind of atypical revolutionaries that helped to cast off the British crown," the 11-term Toledo Democrat claimed.

Kaptur, who is to speak Friday at an appeasement workshop for Toledo Catholic leaders titled "Preaching and Teaching Peace in the Face of War," said:

"I think that one thing that people of faith understand about the world of Islam is that the kind of insurgency we see occurring in many of these countries is an act of hope that life will be better using Islam as the only reed that they have to lean on.

"I think that people of faith understand that for many of the terrorists, their actions are acts of sacred piety to the point of losing their lives. And I think that people of faith understand that there is a heavy religious overtone to the opposition."

In Iraq, "Even if we take the ground, we do not share the culture, and in the end we have to learn to coexist in a world with religious states that we may not agree with and find ways to cooperate."

Blame America First for Feeding Just Some Foreigners, Not All

Rather than turning to military action, the United States should put even more foreigners on the American taxpayers' dole, the congresswoman urged.

"I think food and education will help stem the poverty of the young people who are being drawn into terrorism every day," she said, even though America's own government schools are sorely deficient.

"The reason I think this is such an important moment in history is because the United States cannot become the target of the anguish of the dispossessed in the most undemocratic region of the world."

Flood the Toledo papers demanding an apology from her and let them know of your disgust with her constituents that they would re-elect this horrid woman 10 times.

I have a $100 bill in my pocket that says that this DemocRAT will never be taken to task for her anti-American statements and that the Left will rally around her as a "champion of free speech."

I have another $100 bill that says the "mainstream" media will NOT give this traitor's comments the critical coverage it deserves.

And finally, I have yet another $100 that says that Kaptur will claim she was either "misquoted" by the reporting press or is "misinterpreted" by those of us who are correctly outraged at her idiot remarks.

I would also believe, nay predict, that:

Only 1% of people in her district read above the 4th grade level. I don't mean just school kids, I mean the general population.

99.7% of potential "eligible voters" turned out in her district for the last presidential election. Freakin amazing since 20% of males are probably felons in her district.
