I don't think I can bear it today. There is just so much punishment a human can take. BTW my hubby says that there are ways to make anyone talk,,thinnking of the Sheik currently in custody. He thinks they stimulate the brain or something. Anyone heard that? I don't think he will squeal but hubby is certain.

Why does Mike Farrell get so much air time? Has he been in the military? Does he have an advanced degree in poly-sci or international relations? Has he been an ambassador to somewhere? Does he chair a think tank (public or private)?

From what I have heard and seen of him, apart from being an actor, he has sh!t for brains.

Imho.

I hope that Ferrell and Thompson are on at the same time.

Interesting to see Trent Lott out on the circuit today.

Evil creepy smarmy professor from Columbia University on Fox and Friends now by the name of George Fletcher. Law School prof. He is chortling gleefully that Turkey's democracy worked and they stood up to us. He only wishes that our democracy worked as well.

My husband says "Arrogant, elitist, put him on the list, and how do we cut off any federal money going to Columbia?"

Americans everywhere are much more interested in getting the captured murderous Sheik to talk
by torture rather than listen to the endless hot-air and BS
from the growing list of pandering Democratic hopefuls.

He only wishes that our democracy worked as well.

It makes me want to remind him that Bush DID go to our Congress, and they democratically decided to back him. But then I have to remind myself that to liberals, democracy means "when things go my way." If they get outvoted, it was undemocratic by definition. That's seriously how they think.

Farrell's expertise comes from playing a doctor in S.Korean Mash unit.

Your husband is right- there are drugs that paralyze the diaphragm & intercostal muscles- stopping breathing- yet can be countered as long as there is a pulse. A few treatments of that will crack the hardest man.

Good morning.

Mark my words, the Turks will give us egress to Iraq. I've spent quite some time with their generals. Many of whom had trained in the U.S.

C-SPAN @ ~8:55:

Whining American liberal caller that was almost on the verge of tears saying that she was "praying for the children" of Iraq because of the horrible American aggressors that would soon be killing them. She said she "remembered the Bay of Pigs"...........I guess this was supposed to illustrate US aggression and that we've killed children before.

Truly pathetic.

Blah, blah, blah.

"Why does Mike Farrell get so much air time? Has he been in the military?"

He was in the military in M*A*S*H, don't you know? Actors all think that because they pretend to be somebody else and can memorize lines, that they are automatic experts.

It irks me when comments like this don't get challenged! They can say just about anything and it gets by.

That guy was definitely a Communist. I can just see him telling us all how great it is, how the inequalities of the social strata in the US has had a deleterious effect on our lives...all the while we are driving cars and so on.

He was sickening.

That's just what I said to my husband. Also, the Heritage Foundation representative was a young man who wasn't able to match the smarmy professor verbally.

But the professor's comments on their own, without any embellishment, were obviously leftist, hoping for a Bush loss in the war, and generally offensive.
