LEBEC, Calif.(AP) - A man who was being fatally stabbed described the attack to a 911 dispatcher as it was happening, saying "I'm dead" at one point, authorities said Wednesday. Harry Leonard Howard, Jr., 44, was stabbed and slashed 90 times with a kitchen knife in the home he shared with his lover, Jose Mejia, 43, authorities said. Mejia was arrested.

Of course, if he had killed his roomate the libs would have decried it as "senselss gun violence".

There's a lot of bad cops out there, but there's many more good ones. It took guts to tackle that homosexual guy with blood all over him - high risk of being infected with AIDS. The killer was probably all hopped up on drugs, too - furthering the danger to the officer.
He should have just shot him, which IMO would have been "justifiable" as in the true meaning of "being in fear of my life".
