Brazile fears loss of blacks to GOP

Al Gore's presidential campaign manager yesterday said Democrats cannot take black voters for granted in 2004 and must stop attacking civil rights activist Al Sharpton because Republicans are making "inroads" into one of the party's most loyal voting blocs.

Donna Brazile, a top minority voter outreach adviser to the Democratic National Committee, said Democrats must step up their efforts to court black voters, more of whom are registering as independents and Republicans.

The glazed over look in her eyes during the last elections, when she steadfastly refused to call it a defeat for the Democrats, made me realize that she was not just a dedicated liberal shill, but a complete off-the-wagon kool aid-aholic.

Her calls to Democrats to 'leave Al alone' will only help legitimize him, and cause the Democratic party to splinter apart at a time when they can least afford to. The Dems are terrified of having to deal with that chump, so they give him a free ride. If they don't nip him in the bud, they'll have an ugly fight later on down the road.

She's playing right into our hands. Muhuhahahaha!

Problem for the DNC is that he won't go away and shut up.

The Democrats are in quite a pickle.
If the Democrats pump up Sharpton, of the disgraceful and criminal Tawana Brawley hoax, they will further disgust their quickly disappearing white voters, what's left of them. And if they show disrespect toward Sharpton, they will alienate a huge chunk of their black base. Yep, quite a pickle.

Black Americans aren't going to vote for Bush in 2004. They are so indoctrinated it's beyond their ability to think for themselves.

If I was Bush, I'd purposely mock them and go in front of the NAACP and say, "since there is no way any of you will vote for me, I might as well tell the truth: The Democrats have turned you into slaves...enjoy living on their plantation of horrible schools, inner city blight, low paying jobs and illegitimate births"!

Looks as if the Blacks are starting to wake up to the facts of who it was that went to war to keep them enslaved and passed all those Jim Crow Laws to keep them disenfrachised and who reinvented welfare and civil rights in order to reenslave them. they just might be a little pissed when they come to the truth.
