French Water sales down?

DC Area residents are heeding advice to stock up on flashlights, batteries, bottled water, etc. At Giant Food Saturday morning (2/15), most of the bottled water stocks had been cleaned out.
One major exception, I noted, was that it appeared that virtually none of the French Evian or Perrier water had been sold. There was even quite a bit left of the American waters with French-sounding names.
I had been thinking that a sign should be posted warning that drinking French water might cause one to turn into a yellow-bellied, lily-livered weasel. But apparently most people have already recognized that risk.
Are you seeing similar results elsewhere around the country?

There are plenty of good American, Australian, Spanish, and Chilean wines from which to choose. Not buying French w(h)ine is a no-brainer.

nice gif!
If the buyers of the Grocery stores like Safeway, COSTCO, Albertsons, Raleys etc. were to stop buying all French products...their economy would suffer.
Wine, water, cheese, yogurt....just say no to France!

Friday night at Valentine's dinner, we selected two nice Italian wines, one red and one white.
French wines can continue to age on the shelves.
