Al Qaeda Feared to Have 'Dirty Bombs'

WASHINGTON -- After years of experiments, Al Qaeda is now capable of constructing "dirty bombs" and appears ready to launch terrorist attacks using the radioactive devices along with deadly chemical weapons, counter-terrorism authorities said Friday.

Since the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon nearly 17 months ago, U.S. officials have publicly stated their fears that the global terrorist network headed by Osama bin Laden was trying to acquire and use such devices. But they maintained that Al Qaeda did not have the technology, particularly to launch so-called dirty bombs, which use conventional explosives encased in radioactive waste.

But U.S. officials said Friday that, while they had no evidence to substantiate that Al Qaeda had actually built such a bomb, they now believe it has done so -- and that it could be planning to use one in the coming months.

My response, though not hateful, is too disturbing to post.

Suffice to say that all Muslims need to pray that those among them preparing to kill for allah are not so stupid to employ any further WMD against innocents.

I would be compelled to take actions myself at that point.

I doubt at that point it would involve the use of poster-board and a permanent marker.

It seems to me that the Arab world has no understanding of the American psyche.

Any kind of attack at this time would not soften our resolve, but rather solidify it. (Of course the term "our" is being used loosely and does exclude most Hollywood actors and certain Democratic lawmakers.)

If this kind of bomb were to ever be used in the U.S. these people haven't seen what HellFury would come there way.

No UN resolution, no congressional approval, it would be an ALL OUT seek and destroy mission into every nook and crannie thoughout the world til every last one of them lie dead and rotting.

It would be IMMEDIATE retribution.

While not commenting on the content of your post -- or a disgusting litany of misdeeds set forth in your tagline -- I think it is wiser not to even suggest what you were suggesting. This site is monitored by the FBI, CIA and only G-d knows who. Be very careful what you wish for because it just may come to pass.

That being said, how many Islamics have died in tragic accidents of all type since 911? Is the 'religion of peace' becoming the religion of the accident victim?

Given their track record (FBI & CIA) we have little to worry about.

"This site is monitored by the FBI, CIA and only G-d knows who."

Who was the Freeper that received a visit from the Secret Service over his Clinton comments in the forum?
