World history textbooks in U.S. classrooms sanitize the problems of Islam when compared to how they often treat Western civilization, a review of seven widely used texts reported yesterday.

The study, released by the American Textbook Council, said a rosy treatment of Islam may arise from the lobbying of the Council on Islamic Education on national publishers.

American urban renewal courtesy of the Islamic terrorism and the House of Saud.

Islamic Terrorism only a Murray-al Qaeda Democrat could enjoy.

No surprise when you realize the book most liberals and teachers are scared of is an old one - The Bible.

When you have no absolute truth, Islam is just as good as any other 'story'. Not to actually read or understand it of course - just be nice and serve it to everyone all prettied up. /sarcasm

As my sons friend always tells his teacher.

I can not call islam a religion of peace, I'm not a muslim, they know there religion better then I do, if Bin Laden says he's a good muslim, and he's been following it his whole life, how am I supposed to say he's wrong, thats like a Hindu telling the pope he doesn't know anything about christianity".

Excellent Tag Line, my friend.

George Bush tries repeatedly to reassure us about the “religion of peace”, but:

Why is the religion of peace directly responsible for 28 out of the 30 violent conflicts raging in the world today?

Why is the religion of peace responsible for the vast majority of chattel slavery in the world today?

Why is the religion of peace responsible for nearly every single act of terrorism in the 20th and 21st Centuries?

Why are the practitioners of the religion of peace routinely slaughtering unarmed practitioners of every other religion wherever they can get away with it?

Why does the religion of peace call for the murder of anyone who converts from the religion of peace to another religion?

Why do so many of the believers of the religion of peace look forward to the opportunity to copulate with 77 virgins in heaven if they die while killing innocent women and children of other religions? Is it a god they worship, or just sex? If a god, then shouldn’t heaven have more to do with him than their libidos?

Why do the leaders of the religion of peace routinely issue fatwas (death warrants) for anybody who questions their holy book of peace and their holy prophet of peace?

Why is the religion of peace responsible for the sexual mutilation of millions of little girls and the savage oppression of women?

Why did millions of the practitioners of the religion of peace laugh, cheer and dance in the street because 3,000 innocent men, women and children were murdered by seventeen men who supposedly “hijacked” the religion of peace? And why don’t the real practitioners of the religion of peace condemn the supposed “hijackers” of their religion? Why the deafening silence? Why the smiles? Why the cheers and high fives?

Hmmmm?

Perhaps I just don’t understand this whole PEACE thing. Did the definition of the word change, or is somebody just blowing a lot of smoke?

Luis Gonzales screeched at me that these questions were all lies and that I was a racist for asking them. (Then he called my mother a whore to demonstrate what a class act he is.) What I want to know is why the islamofacists and their apologists get so upset about the questions. why can't they refute them?

Before September 11, 2001, most of the people of America and Europe respected Islam as "one of the world's great religions".

"When any dark side [of Islam] surfaces, textbooks run and hide," said the report, "Islam and the Textbooks," by Gilbert Sewall, a former professor who directs the council."

Its the politically correct thing to do. Muslims are third worlders and have more melanin than us, consequently, they must be treated with a special consideration by the liberal establishment.

If Vikings were around today, they wouldn't get similar treatment for their religion as they would fail the pigmentation test.

I think the multiculturalists have become so ingrained with the idea that all other cultures are superior to our and other religions and ideologies are superior to Christianity and we should not look at the effects of those cultures and ideologies because it proves them wrong.

Textbook-making is like sausage-making. You don't want to see how it's done.

Homeschooling bump.

"For more than a decade, history-textbook editors have done the Council's bidding, and as a result, history textbooks accommodate Islam on terms that Islamists demand," the report said.

It's all over. If this is how we surrender with only 3 million muslims in America, imagine when it becomes 30 million. Better start translating the Constitution into Arabic (don't bother with the Bill of Rights). Sharia law is on the way, unless we stand up against cultural terorists such as CAIR and the CIE.
