A Vast Left Wing Conspiracy?
Vanity

Posted on 02/06/2003 12:40:47 PM PST by pfflier

It has become apparent that the UN will never recognize the US, the world's only superpower, as anything other than an entity to vex, torment, confound, confuse and contradict.

In the past, if a US president and Secretary of State were to address the UN, it would have had world wide impact. Whatever they wanted would be a done deal. In this case, second rate countries and third world powers have stifled the US in its efforts to eliminate Saddam Hussein. How did this happen? How did the US lose so much prestige?

The bottom line is respect. Respect for the US as a super power and respect for President Bush as leader of that superpower. Where has this respect gone and how did it go? Go back to the 2000 elections

The election outcome was based on an appeal to the US Supreme court that the Democrats filed and ultimately lost. From that time and on, the Democratic party has systematically criticized the results of their lost appeal and the legitimacy of the Bush Presidency in every forum, nationally and internationally.

The Democratic party and its liberal supporters have taken every opportunity to take the administrations domestic and foreign relations plans and wrap them in a quagmire of useless negativism.

The Democratic leadership has instructed their House and Senate members to aggressively obstruct any of the President's legislative initiatives.

The Hollywood mouthpiece of the Democratic party has referred to the president in very derogatory terms, here and abroad, they have personally insulted him, his intelligence and his values.

Other countries have seen this and have joined in the (unprecedented ) personal mocking of the most powerful world leader.

The enemies of this country have seen the Democratic party, as an extension of their political arm, as an easily manipulated forum to "springboard" their agendas. In the UN, particularly, the "America haters" have seen a reciprocating ally, the Democratic party.

This could only happen if the Democratic party leadership let it happen or engineered it to happen. It is a vast left wing conspiracy!

It is not only the most disloyal act ever witnessed by this country but also the most deceitful. It will cost American lives by encouraging terrorism or by encouraging resistance to American military action. Your sons and daughters will die because of this disloyalty.

There's been a left wing conspiracy since Marx wrote Das Capital and the big lie became the only way to get people to believe all the claptrap. That's why the left thinks there's a right wing conspiracy. It's what they've been doing for decades and they can't think any other way.

Diplomacy is the art of getting the other guy to do what you want. Usually this requires that you are able to corner him or pursuade him to go along with you, usually you give something of value to move one in your direction.

Today, the world stands united in hopes of cornering the USA. Today, the USA has a military unparrelled in history and it is posed to make a quantum leap in its superiority; the USA's economic might is measured in both consumption and high quality products (the economy is 85% internal and generates enought wealth to purchase 10% of the worlds exports). The USA has political clout unrivaled by even dozens of countries cobbled together to oppose her; the USA can simply state her position and let others take it or leave it. It is rare in the world's history that a single country has had such far reaching influence. All the while, the USA is a model to be emulated when it comes to quality of life, human rights and morality. While no country is Saintly, few can hold a candle to challenge the USA in any area, even collectively in bodies like the UN other countries find themselves in awe of the shear power of this great nation. Even if the world's economy climbs back in productiveness, the world will look to the USA to pull them along, rather than the world hoping to escipsle her.

The selfishness of the democrats is on display in bright flashing neon lights for all to see.

Democrats are dying to have their power back so they can continue the death spin of the American Constitution.

American military members will be dying in the Demoncrats lust for power. Their disunity signals Saddam to hold out.
