[Moodesto City] Council says 'no' to ban on concealed weapons

A Modesto City Council majority on Tuesday rejected the idea of banning concealed weapons from council meetings. Mayor Carmen Sabatino's proposed ban died when none of the other five council members seconded his motion. Councilman Bill Conrad was absent, but has said he opposes the restriction as well.

In my view, this statement is a disinformation classic.

How about the ban on bar smoking: "This has nothing to do with an individual's right to smoke cigarettes, and everything to do with where cigarettes should be smoked."

Its a formula statement for saying one thing while claiming you mean another.

When I lived in Santa Cruz they called it Sanity Cruz. Those crazy college kidz, kinda ironic.
