Does his theory address the origins of the Olemic culture in South America?

I saw the show last week; it was excellent. His thesis (backed up by good Y chromosome DNA data) is that the ancestors of Europeans and Native Americans left Africa via the Middle East and went to Central Asia.

Some of these folks then went to Europe, others went to Siberia and then across into Alaska and then down to S. America and across N. America. I don't know anything about the Olemic culture, but the implication is that they are descended from these folk too.
