Who Sold What After the Embargo? (Blood Pressure Enhancer)
Tageszeitung ^ | 1/21/03 | unknown

Iraq’s declaration of its weapons programs contains explosive news for Germany, a Berlin paper has reported. The dossier is said to detail covert arms deals between German defense firms and Iraq.

Just as the heated debates within the German government over the role of German troops and equipment in a possible war against Iraq seem to be cooling down, another potential bombshell threatens to reignite the fires.

On Tuesday, the Berlin-based left-wing paper, Tageszeitung reported that aspects of the 12,000-page Iraqi report on Iraq's weapons programs, submitted to the U.N last week, could prove highly embarrassing for Germany.

The newspaper - believed to be the first to have access to the top-secret dossier - has written that the Iraqi declaration contains the names of 80 German firms, research laboratories and people, who are said to have helped Iraq develop its weapons program.

Don't know if this has already been posted. If so I haven't seen it and sorry if it has already. There has been some speculation about this recently. The newspaper which carried the story in Germany is a lefty news paper no less and the origional story is in German. Perhaps someone could translate it for us. I for one would be interested to see what it says.

In October this year, a magazine of the German radio channel, Südwestrundfunk reported that electronics giant Siemens had delivered specialized technical equipment to Iraq for the treatment of kidney stones, but which could also under certain circumstances be used as a detonator for atom bombs.

Siemens insisted that the device could not be misused because it had commissioned an Iraqi company to regularly monitor the equipment. In fact the delivery was even sanctioned by the sanctions council of the U.N. and the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA).

Nuclear triggers??

Apparently Bush has known for two years that Germany/Vichy's were backing our enemies... with nuke and bio tech.

Cards close to the chest, are they not? We appeart to be going for regime changes in over dozen places at once.

Would not surprise me in the least, if FRANCE, Germany, Russia and China threatened to nuke us if we ruin their little "hating america" party, that they were planning.

Will we back down? No Damned Way...

Global Re-Alignment is on the way... or Armageddon.
The bad guys have a choice... will they choose wisely?
What a time to be alive!

The paper reports that the dossier contains several indications of cases, where German authorities right up to the Finance Ministry tolerated the illegal arms cooperation and also promoted to it to an extent.

That explains why the Germans are acting the way they are! Time to pull our troops from Germany if they won't let us use their bases and airspace to launch all because they don't want the truth known.

Looks like some Germans have not changed if they are helping develop weapons of mass destruction.

The link to the newspaper in Berlin that carried the story in German. Can't read German and as far as I know there is not an english translation version. Also I am not sure if the story is held in their online archives but it could be.

I believe it will.
Germany is in this up to their eyeballs... and we probably knew about the Iraq, Germany, Al Qaieda connection on 9-11 by about 5 pm ny time.

We must be ready to bust ass, cus the sabers are no longer rattling. Franks gave us the "good to go" the day before yesterday... and reinforcements are pouring into eveyr potential theatre... including the south pacific.

Germany is going to get more than a black eye. Their economy is on the verge of collapse and could not withstand an American Forces withdrawal, economically. France won't get in REALLY deep doo doo... because they are just perceived as being to friggn stupid. which they are.

Our enemies worldwide don't think Bush will go to the mat over 9-11 and the massive terrorist worldwide network of supporting nations... Fools.

We got em all in our sights...

"Time to pull our troops from Germany"
... I believe it's on the way... We don't need our guys there anyway... I say let the ruskies have em... we are done with them. We can rest content while Putin nails our leftovers... After we pull out, their economy will collapse. Good riddance to bad trash..
