The founder of the IAC and director for A.N.S.W.E.R. is Ramsey Clark, who is introduced at IAC rallies as the former attorney general under the Lyndon Johnson administration. No mention is made of the fact that Clark, in his current occupation, has been retained by the State of Iraq to serve as legal counsel for the regime.

Clark was calling for Bush's impeachment at the peacenick D.C. rally.

The woman on C-Span this morning said she made a meager living running a website. She had 2 daughters she left in California to volunteer to work on the demonstration. She said a Lutheran Church in Washington was donating space for the organizers to live. She also said she had been to Afghanistan several times since we started fighting there. Who paid for that...who knows?

She went to Afghanistan, she said, to verify how we had killed innocent Afghanistan people, destroyed property, and didn't do anything to help them after all this carnage. She really sounded a lot like Patty Murray, talking about how we should be building schools in these countries that hate us, (with good reason), but because we didn't, the only schools they had to attend were the madrassas.

She said America contributes almost nothing to help other countries, that we spend all our money for bombs and weapons.

If you listen to exactly what these people say, you soon realize it's all lies....and in the case of C-Span this morning, unrefuted lies.

If they'd just bother to read a few background books on wars, spooks, WMD deals etc. Now why would PM Blair of the UK stick so close to GW on this unless he has been briiefed on some very time sensitive intel? Blair is to the left of center, pseudo DNC. Are these gullible idiots so naiive? Incredible. Americans deliberately marching with Saddam and the PLO in the same protest/photo op.

I think that most in this country, if they watched this gathering of wasted skin on C-Span or saw them on the various news outlets, know that these are the freaks, the losers, the dregs of society. They heard the screaming, saw the signs, etc. I believe that the vast majority in this country were sickened by this spectacle.

Well, I know the following facts:

In my area:

1.) People were bussed from Monterey to San Francisco in charter busses, courtest of the "Monterey County Coalition for Peace". The cost was free. They were picked up at the local communist coffee house.

2.) Signs were pre-made, and freely available, courtesy of Working Assets Long Distance (ttp://www.workingassets.com/nowar/) . All the hippies had to do was go online and reserve a sign of their choice, and pick it up in S.F. when they arrived.
