Berlusconi: il referendum sull´articolo 18 si farà

REFERENDUM INEVITABILE. Ugo Magri

Berlusconi: "As they say in Milan: You wanted the bicicle, now pedal". The left wanted the Referendum, why changing now that the Supreme Court (of Italy) has approved it?

This referendum is a nation-wide vote on the "Article 18" which, among other items, extend to employers with less then 15 people the obbligation to pay the employees the equivalent of one month pay for every year worked, at the end of their relationship.

The Italian left wanted the Referendum, but now some polls shows that the majority of the Italian voters believe, and vill vote accordingly, that this apparent workers benefits will translate into additional unemployment....so now they want to stop the Referendum!
