I've always thought it was hilarious that NEA support staff aren't recognized for the purpose of collectively bargaining! HAHAHAHAHAHA....

BTW, according to Dashcle and his minions, the NEA professional staffers are 'the wrong people.'

Once upon a time, I worked for a major trade association (manufacturing sector) that went through a comprehensive salary review. A cardinal principle was that the professional staff's pay should be slightly less than that of our peers in member companies. This was done mainly on the theory that we worked for them, not the other way around. It also helped keep people moving up and out so the association didn't get too ingrown.

Looks like the NEA has all these principles reversed. Wonder if rank and file teachers are proud.

Are these the actual teachers pay? A very good friend of mine is a teacher BW, MA in mathamatics votes Democrat but is not a liberal.
There is no way he makes the kind of money listed on this chart.
