I had heard that Gore's home state has a day honoring Nathaniel Bedfore Forrest. He was an early leader of the KKK. It irritated me to no end that Gore was so beloved by black Americans regarding the Confederate flag if this were true, and I am 90% sure it is. Not a word about his own home state. Here is a bio of Nathaniel Bedford Forrest:

"Joining the Ku Klux Klan shortly after the war, he was apparently one of its early leaders."

From the page:

Here's An Interesting Item

We saw this item for bid on the eBay auction site. It appears that Clinton and Gore weren't too ashamed to use the Confederate Battle flag when they wanted the Southern vote back in '92. Gee, wonder why it wasn't a symbol of hate then? It's just as well that they no longer use this flag as we can't think of a worse way to desecrate this sacred symbol than having their names on it.

Kind of makes you wonder how many more Dems out there have the Confederate flag on their campaign stuff. Well, it makes me wonder.

Thanks for calling this to our attention. Have you been able to confirm this is factual? I would love to mix this into a conversation, but it's important to me that it must be verified before I start blabbing this around.

If this campaign pin or button is for real, then the Clinton-Gore names are a desicration on a symbol of the South's heritage & history.
