Whole Democratic Party Is Destruction Machine (Rush alert!)
Eib ^ | 12/6/2002 | Rush Limbaugh

The other day, Bill Clinton whined that the Democrats "don't have a destruction machine," like me. Let's ask Richard Mellon Scaife, Ken Starr, Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork, John Ashcroft and Ed Meese if they think the Democrats don't have a destruction machine. The whole modus operandi of the Democratic Party is the politics of personal destruction. The left not only controls the mainstream media, they control academia, Hollywood, etc., etc., etc.

Democrats are seriously thinking of buying their own network and think tanks to combat Fox News Channel and conservatives. I guess owning ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and every newspaper from the New York Times and Washington Post on down doesn't count! I guess they never heard of the Brookings Institute et. al. All this caterwauling means that the Democrats have finally realized that the Republicans actually won this election.

The Carville memo that we brought to you on Thursday (read it here) shows how conservatism triumphed. They see that people trust Republicans and conservatives, so now Democrats are getting ready to fight back. They're not changing what they believe, but they're coming up with deceptive new ways to present it. Examples: Tax cuts are now "tax holidays," which expire. "Tort reform" is now "the right to sue." (See: Liberals Rename Tort Reform.) It's a new attempt to camouflage what they really stand for and to demonize their opponents. It's not going to work.

"Democrats are seriously thinking of buying their own network and think tanks to combat Fox News" ....

I bet they could get MSNBC at a bargain....I am sure they could run it deeper into the hole....

Yep. I look at the Clinton presidency as an overall positive. It was a little like WWII--terrible (but necessary) while it occurred. And I truly think that, as in WWII, we could have lost everything. But we didn't. Clinton allowed us to capture the House. He galvanized conservatives. He woke up a lot of apathetic, sleeping voters. And he created a climate where a Fox news channel, the Ann Coulter's, and other conservative phenomena could find a following and flourish. Many people lost their lives in both struggles--perhaps we need a monument to Waco victims.

Before you say it, I will. As much as I sometimes disagree with Rush's emphases, HE was pre-Clinton and HE was instrumental in winning. HE deserves the political equivalent of the Medal of Honor.

Now, the last election has given us a chance. Let's hope we can make something of it.

The Democratic Crime Syndicate should be extinct as a political party in The United States of America and its members jailed when applicable. There is much work to be done.

Memo to Bill Clinton: Tonight when you are in your bedroom making hot passionate love, gaze over at the picture of your wife on the dresser ( you'll have to look at the picture because she won't be in the room), and then turn your gaze to the image in the mirror and you will have just set your eyes on the two biggest reasons for the demise of the democrat party.

Actually, he'll only be able to see the ONE reason for the democrats' demise.

His own reflection in the mirror above the bathroom sink.

I'm going to post it in a few minutes. It's on Rush's site, but it's in pdf format and 12 pages long. Another poster wanted me to post it to Free Republic so it'll be in an archive. I'm printing it now, then I'll scan it so it can be posted. I'll let you know when I do and where it is.

I'll wait to read your scanned article.....I wonder if you should post it on a separate thread....unless you're aware of it already being linked somewhere, and posted. Perhaps do a search first for it on FR.....thanks.

I didn't this morning and I don't have a subscription. I just tried again and I didn't have a problem. Now when I click on the "Essential stack" and the "E-Stack" it takes me to a subscription log-in page.
