The Annunciation was, of course, nine months before His birth (Gabriel). I think you are referring to the Presentation. The presentation of any first-born Hebrew male was on the fortieth day after birth. By your dates, this would be sometime in October.

Howzat? If Jesus was born on Sept 11 Greg as I state, his gestation of 273 days would have had to begin in December SOME time, nicht wahr?

Why NOT the 24th of Kislev?

The angel was said to announce it to Mary in the morning, so the 24th had begun at sundown the night before...
