[history]
Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh says he fears that outgoing Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle is giving comfort to the United States' enemies by belittling U.S. achievements in the war on terror.
"He's attacked my president. He attacked our effort in the war on terrorism. He said he's seen no evidence of any victory because we haven't gotten [Osama] bin Laden," Mr. Limbaugh said of Mr. Daschle, South Dakota Democrat, in an interview broadcast yesterday on CNN's "Reliable Sources" with Howard Kurtz.

We're making all kinds of success," said Mr. Limbaugh, who has at least 14.5 million weekly listeners, according to the trade magazine Talkers. Mr. Limbaugh said yesterday that his weekly audience is from 19 million to 22 million.Do I detect envy here?
BTW, I am watching Howell Raines on C-span right now. He said with a straight face, " I believe we cover the Middle East fairly and balanced. We do not, as some would say, have a bias toward Israel."
I almost fell out of my chair! He thinks he is being criticized for a Israeli bias.

Its been stated the NY Times has never supported a Republican canidate for President. How could that not reflect a bias?

What the heck is McCain's game. He was an ass before he ran for president, and now he is a complete BOZO!
I figure he will be around to aggravate everyone for some time to come.
Tom daschle never dreamed his bitching and moaning would send "The Rush Revolution" into hyperdrive. Now Rush is all but unstoppable!!! He has penetrated the mainstream, and he will not be ignored any longer! The name "Rush Limbaugh" is no longer a punchline for politically ignorant liberal comics on late night TV...It is the symbol for the Conservative movement in the 21st Century!!!
Hubba Hubba Hubba! Dooba Dooba Dooba!
To: wirestripper
I don't know. Did you see him in the interview where he called Limbaugh a circus clown? He acted like a complete idiot. His self worth is relagated to being a pain in the a$$ to everyone. He thinks he's more 'imPOtant' than anyone else. I think his career is behind him not in front of him.

Oh, his career is behind him, but how long is he going to hang in the Senate before he realizes that fact?
To: Balata
Its been stated the NY Times has never supported a Republican canidate for President. The NYT supported General Eisenhower in 1952.

Mr. Daschle] threw the brick.Someone needs to do a graphic on this brick thang!
To: Nogbad
The NYT supported General Eisenhower in 1952.So did I! But I could not vote yet!
To: Nogbad
That statement was made by a pundant on TV. The fact they may have supported Eisenhower 50 years ago certainly doesn't keep them from wearing the lable of bias.
