Two Republican Party moderates in the legislature are being challenged for their leadership posts by members of the party's conservative faction opposed to an income tax.
With votes scheduled in legislative caucus meetings over the next three weeks, the contests come on the heels of bitter election battles and debate over taxes. The challengers say Republicans need to be more aggressive about staking out positions.

My note..Hargett is not as viable a canidate as Woods in my opinion, tends to be somewhat of a moderate to often for my taste.
Oust both Clabough and McDaniels.
Sundquist had cooked up the income tax plan along with several other key members of the legislature BEFORE he ran for the legislature, then he ran on a no-income-tax platform. He therefore LIED to every person who voted for him.
I just don't see how this falls under the heading of "appropriate."
