KLT still needs prayers

All,

KLT's son Jesse was operated on yesterday. I have not heard anything since before the operation. This is bad.

I have tried contacting KLT to no avail. I sincerely pray that she just forgot to call and everything is ok.

Good news. I just spoke to Jesse, who was very groggy, and to KLT. She says the surgery was a success, and to tell you it was achieved in one step and there probably won't have to be another surgery. He's doing well, just extremely doped up at the moment.

The reason she never got in touch was because she stayed most of the night at the hospital and they wouldn't let her use her cell phone in there.

It's obvious that I haven't been to a hospital in a long time; I didn't know cell phones were a problem! (actually, I don't own one)

KLT asked me to thank everyone for the prayers. I'm sure the extra ones we requested will all go to healing, right?

I was going to say that she is probably worn out with worry and tiredness. There is something about sitting around in a hospital waiting room that saps one's strength. They are not built for comfort and it is difficult to pass the time. The worry over a loved one really contributes to it as well.

I am so glad to hear that her son made it fine. He will be very groggy and the rest will do him good.

I think that cell phone signals may play havoc with some of the technology in hospitals.
